There are a number of shops, supermarkets, market halls, workshops and gold smiths in the major cities of Eritrea, in which tourist can buy things for consumption or as souvenirs. In Asmara for example, most of the major shops and gift shops are located in down town and on market halls situated near the Meda-Eretra bus station terminal, just behind to the main mosque.
